through the noise
Identifying, understanding, and solving complex public health challenges
SGNL Solutions (SGNL), a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, connects across research, policy, and practice communities to identify, understand, and solve complex public health challenges. We undertake collaborative projects involving stakeholder engagement, process facilitation, data collection, analysis, evaluation, scientific writing, and product development. Our team of experienced consultants provides cross disciplinary expertise and perspectives, which fosters better understanding and integrated solutions to address our nation’s most pressing issues. We become issue experts and get excited about what matters to our clients.
We sift through noisy data and distractions to get at the core of persistent problems to find the signal – the real information and approaches needed to finally address problems. We work across disciplines, think creatively, and break apart silos that oftentimes prevent progress. We then work with clients to make these important issues approachable and actionable.
We get at the core of persistent problems
Since 2016, the Association of Public Health Laboratories, Inc. (APHL) has collaborated with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) to build laboratory capacity.
We help redefine policy and practice
The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) partnered with SGNL in 2021 and 2022 to gather input from diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) about gaps in state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT) PHEPR practice evidence.
The Healthcare and Public Health (HPH) sector provides goods and services essential to maintaining local, national, and global health, security, and our way of life. SGNL works to raise awareness of this issue and offers commentary, solutions, and training
