The SGNL team comprises two full-time founders/principal consultants, along with several part-time consultants who fulfill diverse roles. We collaborate with a network of seasoned professionals with experience at local, state, and national levels to build effective teams around client needs.
Our experienced staff has worked on health-related topics with various entities, including federal agencies, state, county, and local governments, the military, national associations, nonprofits, academic research institutions, and medical and public health organizations both nationally and internationally.

We offer subject matter expertise in areas such as emerging threats, syndromic surveillance, public health and healthcare preparedness and response, health equity, critical infrastructure security, technology, and global health security. Our team is also skilled in evaluation and assessment, project management, analysis, report writing, exercises and planning, and group facilitation, ensuring comprehensive support for our clients.

Megan Snair, MPH
Founder and
Principal Consultant
Megan has more than ten years of experience working as a science writer, program director, analyst, and public health subject matter expert. She led multiple landmark activities and oversaw scientific publications as a senior program officer and study director at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
Justin Snair, MPA
Founder and Senior Principal Consultant
Justin brings eighteen years of experience working with local, state, and federal governments and homeland security, public health, military, and academic partners. He determines the overall direction and manages operations of the organization. He previously served as a senior program officer with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, overseeing the health security portfolio.
